Quiz mode for the widget

Quiz mode is an alternative to the channel list. A visitor answers 3–5 short questions and then picks a channel or leaves a request. Answers are delivered to you as a ready-to-send message or as a structured lead — no more lost clicks where the visitor opened WhatsApp but never typed anything.

When to use quiz mode

  • On landing pages where you need to qualify leads (service type, budget, region).
  • When channel-click conversion is high but actual messages rarely arrive.
  • To tag every inbound request with answer-based context.

Setup

1. In the dashboard open the site and go to **Quiz**.

2. Switch the widget mode to **Quiz**. If there are no steps yet, visitors still see the channel list.

3. Set the intro title and subtitle (e.g. "Let us help you — 3 questions in 30 seconds").

4. Add 1 to 10 steps. Step types: single choice, multi choice, text, phone, email, number.

5. Add up to 8 options for choice steps.

6. Enable "Custom answer" to let visitors enter free text alongside the predefined options.

7. If you collect personal data (phone, email, name), fill in the consent text and enable **Require consent** — required for GDPR-style laws (152-FZ / KZ Personal Data Law).

What happens after the quiz

  • **Channel destination (WhatsApp, Telegram, email, phone):** the messenger opens. For WhatsApp and email the answers are pre-filled — the visitor only needs to send.
  • **Lead form:** the visitor fills in name and contact in the widget. The lead lands in your dashboard immediately.
  • In both cases the lead is stored **before** the visitor leaves to a messenger. Even if they close the tab the answers are kept.

Limits

  • 10 steps per quiz.
  • 8 answer options per step.
  • 240 characters per question, 120 per option label.
  • Leads are retained for 365 days.

Where the leads appear

  • The **Leads** section shows answers, contact details, and the source URL.
  • Configure notifications under **Integrations → Telegram** (via @ShivanLeadsBot); email notifications go to the workspace owner.
